Rainbow Serpent Festival - DELA and Rhadwood will be exhibiting art work and live painting1/26/2018
** Tickets On Sale To Public June 28 - 10am AEST **
Rainbow Serpent Festival has been on a wonderful journey over the last two decades. From a small gathering in a secluded clearing Rainbow has developed into one of the most highly regarded music and arts festivals in the world. These days the epic five day multifaceted explosion of dance, colour, expression and celebration attracts people from all over the planet who converge on Lexton in Western Victoria in January for an unforgettable, unique Australian experience. We would like to extend a warm invitation to come and join us for our 20th Anniversary Celebration! It will come as no surprise we intend for Rainbow 2017 to be a momentous celebration of world class music producers and DJs, beautiful art and sculpture with inspiring speakers and workshops. We will look back at the incredible journey we've all taken together while enjoying an unprecedented weekend of activities, opportunities, moments and memories. With world class décor, roving artistic performances, crazy activities you can’t imagine a more exotic sensory mix. If you’ve never been to the Rainbow Serpent Festival, now is the time to buy a tent and call your friends. The name Rainbow Serpent is distinctly Australian, coming from the Dreamtime creation story told by the traditional owners of the land. Dreamtime stories often vary between aboriginal tribes, however the story of the Rainbow Serpent is special as it is one of the few common to all. LOVE CIRCLE is a community created festival, where all participate in devising a new culture to better our world. Love Circle emphasizes the importance of love, creativity, self-expression and self-development. Through conscious workshops, passionate raging, unlimited self-expression and community art projects, we are raising our spirits to our higher self and practicing the change we wish to see.
LOVE CIRCLE is more than just a festival; it's a movement. We're on a mission of bringing in the New Age, an era of equality, understanding of our differences and likenesses, peace, growth, sustainability, creativity, passion, love and joy. We all want to see the world change. Be a part of the movement, and contribute in YOUR way. In 3 days of desert camping, ecstatic dance, classes, connection and creation, transformation inevidably occurs within all of us and the communities we are linked to. Again, be the change you wish to see in the world. Follow your passion, be yourself, love and create, every day until you die. More details will be coming soon! Save the date and spread the word! ♥ Thank you love circle! We've decided to GATHER AGAIN in 2016! We were so inspired this year and our family is growing and we want to continue to GROW TOGETHER! The Gathering last year was a very potent experience for the production team. We tried some new things, learned a few lessons, and by the end the event we had so many new ideas we were ready to build an even more fine tuned container for a novel and spectacular experience.
Our first decade was spent building community in magical forests, the edge of mountains, surfaces that looked the moon, the Australian outbacks, to an beautiful peninsula that was saturated with artist expression. In beginning our next ten years, we're building the experience around the roots and the paths that have led us here and acknowledging all the influences that made us who we are. We welcome long timers and first timers as we develop our Family Tree! Atmosphere Gathering returns to the Village of Cumberland for a third year of immersive experiences. The community is a huge part of this gathering, providing a wonderful backdrop to our offerings of live and electronic elements to manifest an exciting multi-sensory extravaganza.
The unique world-class lineup of performers including The Soul Rebels, Liquid Stranger, Delhi 2 Dublin, Fractal Tribe, Frazey Ford, Drumspyder, Kinnie Starr, saQi(live), and more. An intentionally intimate event, this year there will be 1500 tickets available. Set among the stately trees and gardens of the Filberg Heritage Lodge and Park in Comox on the east coast of Vancouver Island the Filberg Festival is truly a unique event. Wander through the grounds surrounded by beautiful gardens, rustic out-buildings and magnificent views of Comox Harbour and the Beaufort Mountain Range.
The principal objective of the Filberg Festival has been to encourage excellence in all forms of arts and crafts, and to assist in the promotion and sale of quality work. The Festival has established a world-wide reputation for the excellence of the work of its juried artisans, and today is one of western Canada’s largest juried outdoor arts show. Gate admission is charged at the Filberg Festival as it is the primary fundraiser for the not-for-profit organization which has the responsibility of repairing and maintaining this Heritage property and buildings. Over 300 people volunteer each year to make this event a reality. Blessed Coast 2016

In this year we take a firm look at the challenges we face as a people and a planet and arrive with Soulutions... The Crossroads are coming!
The Festival Lucidity is an open-source transformational arts and music festival. We call it open-source because we co-create this festival experience with YOU! We invite you to come play with us, get involved with one of our seven themed villages, call together your star family, bring art, lead a workshop, spark a spontaneous flash mob, embody a character from your dreams, be silly and wild and free! When we become lucid in our dreams, we realize ourselves as infinite potential, we let go of fear, and we are free to create that which we want to see in the world. Bring those visions, those possibilities, and that delicious conscious energy with you to Lucidity and wake up in the dream. Year 5: Crossroads The second chapter of our collective journey and the fifth installment of our epic saga brings us to this turbulent moment in space and time—the Now of our socio-cultural evolution. We see our global human family entangled in a liminal, transitional zone between what was and what will be. Crossroads is the place between worlds. It is a limbo zone where many of us are confronted by Shadow and a great fear of the unknown. This dark night of the collective soul represents our final push through the oppressive powers of mind control and socioeconomic domination. Having traversed three years of personal discovery, exploration, and realization, and having time-traveled into our past to learn from our tribal elders, we are now standing upon the mountaintop, hand in hand, looking out upon our beloved Mother Earth. Without denial or judgment, we acknowledge the bursting cities and poisoned seas, the weeping jungle and waning ice worlds. As the Dreamers of the New Dawn, only moments are spent on grief, as we are here to envision solutions. We resolve to cast light upon the darkness, to dig our hands in the dirt, to sing songs of a peaceful future, and actively sweep away that which no longer serves us. The Company Lucidity Festival LLC is a collectively owned organization dedicated to creating transformational experiences for individuals and communities; we are a production company, a creative lifestyle for expanding consciousness, and an interconnected community of friends and family. Our decisions are made through a heterarchical model of consensus as opposed to other top-down hierarchical approaches. Everything we do revolves around the mission of advancing the following values in the world: Core Values Participation and Immersion in the Artistic Process Personal Growth and Global Healing Awake and Aware Consciousness Environmental and Social Responsibility Family Fun and Creative Play Communal Reciprocity Transparency Explore all the Lucidity Villages: Family Garden- https://www.facebook.com/events/434820226707360/ Goddess Grove- https://www.facebook.com/events/145250509170977/ Healers Sanctuary- https://www.facebook.com/events/760552810745015/ Nomads Nook- https://www.facebook.com/events/186649425012386/ Trixsters Playground- https://www.facebook.com/events/947611245331632/ Warriors Way- https://www.facebook.com/events/650872068389210/ Lovers Nest- https://www.facebook.com/events/1657350794546193/ Hello Beautiful Desert Hearts Family!
Still radiating from the vibes of our 3 Year Anniversary Festival and the start of our Winter City Hearts Tour, it’s our pleasure to announce the dates of our Desert Hearts Spring Festival 2016! Spring has always been a symbol of growth and rebirth in the world. As our movement of love begins to take strides across the globe, we've witnessed the prosperity of new Desert Hearts communities fostering love and positive intentions. Our ultimate goal is to create communities world-wide that give artists and patrons a platform to express themselves and be the best people they can be. Our festivals are the light which guide this movement of love and our community is a role model for what can happen when people put their differences aside and come together in the name of love. For our Spring Festival 2016, our intention is more clear than ever: Love. The world needs more love and that’s why Desert Hearts is here. Let’s shout from the mountain tops and practice what we preach. It’s time to make a difference in the world and it starts in the hearts and minds of our family. House, Techno, & Love… We Are All Desert Hearts. ♥ Love Always, Your Desert Hearts Crew ~ ♥ Admission ♥ ~ Gates open for General Admission, Friday at 10am. Thursday early arrival passes allow admission Thursday at Noon. Music starts at 4pm on Friday and bumps nonstop until Monday at 4pm. Tickets include entrance, camping, and access to all open kitchens, theme camps, & art installations. For fastest entry, please print and bring your ticket that will be emailed to you upon purchase. If you can't find the email please check your spam or promotions folder. * In order to encourage carpooling, an Environmental Impact Fee of $20 will be charged per vehicle. We highly encourage you to sign up for our family mailing list because everyone on our mailing list will have first priority to buy the cheapest tickets possible hours before tickets go on sale to the public. Our goal is to reward our most loyal Desert Hearts Family who have been so incredibly good to us as we've grown over the years. ♥ Ticket Tiers ♥ For each tier we have a limited number of tickets for sale. After the tickets sell out at each tier, the price will increase to the next tier. Our last three festivals sold out relatively quick so act fast to ensure your spot is safe in the dust. Words often fail us, but here it goes: THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!!!! Envision Festival 2015 exceeded all of our expectations, and warmed our hearts beyond all measure. The blood, sweat, and tears we have poured into this wild dream over the years came back to us in the form of pure, unadulterated joy. We sit in continuous amazement of the community that has come together to experience and live Envision. We witnessed people from all over the globe smiling, laughing, talking, discussing, building, and growing together. Our fans are up with the sun, practicing yoga, planting trees, listening to speakers, and celebrating our beautiful life and planet all night. We set out 5 years ago to have a gathering in paradise that would leave the world shining a little brighter, and what we ended up with was a big, extended family. Thank you! As a celebration dedicated to awakening our human potential, Envision provides a platform for different cultures to co-exist in sustainable community and inspire one another through art, spirituality, yoga, music, dance, performance, education, sustainability and our fundamental connection with nature. We hope that Envision changes people, and that they leave with a desire to continue to grow and evolve in their relations with one another and with the world. Driven by a deep seeded passion for house music, Kevin understands that those roots lie in the party and in dance – which is what motivates him while he’s behind the decks. Where did it start? Kevin was caught partying a bit too hard as a teenager in high school, was punished by his parents for a full summer, and they bought him a pair of technics turntables to direct his passion for partying to music. Now, 7 years later Kevin is starting parties and causing ruckus on the dance floors with the tools and passion that were given to him that very boring summer. Don’t be surprised when you see Kevin’s name on more and more events in the Southern California area. Kevin is now a Resident Desert Hearts Dj and recently has played with Dixon, Kill Frenzy, Justin Jay, Gigamesh, Zombie Disco Squad, and Walker & Royce. It’s Inevitable that he’ll only continue to build his growing reputation. https://soundcloud.com/kevin_anderson https://www.facebook.com/KevinAndersonMusicPage ♥ DOUGAL ♥ (Re:Love / F.A.M.I.L.Y / Bright People) Dougal has been injecting soul into the L.A. music scene since 1992, making him a Los Angeles underground icon. His rich and detailed paintings depict emotive creatures in various stages of self reflection and spiritual illumination. They are neurotic do-gooders, abandoned explorers and sentinels, estranged lovers, wooly bodhisattvas, aimless angelic oracles, whispering wratihs, reformed scoundrels, weathered widows, impish frolickers, and hungry ghosts. Peter's visionary work blends magical realism, pop surrealism, magical realism in a unique vision that explores what it means to live in fear and love. His recent works have been in close to 50 shows worldwide in the past two years, most notably at Copro Gallery, Cannibal Flower, and La Luz de Jesus Gallery among others. IG- @petergoodeart FB- Peter Goode Art ♥ Brad Rhadwood ♥ Canadian American, painter BRAD RHADWOOD, Wood Whispering pioneer, is an urban folk artist that salvages wood of all nature, transforming it into pop-surrealist and psychedelic works of art. In one medium, he uses the naturally occurring elements found in the wood to create whimsical "Derpy" creatures & critters. He considers his work collaborative with the wood itself being a major contributor to how each piece manifests. “Sometimes I begin the conversation with an idea or intention, sometimes the wood does all the talking. Letting the wood speak is equally as important (usually more) than anything I have to say." Knots are the beginning to every piece. His light down the rabbit hole, the key to a magical garden. This transformative art form turns the natural into the super natural inviting the viewer to see wood in a new way.
